“HARVEY” has been one of the foundation Woburn sires. His extraordinarily heavy antler structure has left its mark on both velvet and trophy genetics.In his prime “Harvey” grew the heaviest velvet for age for any New Zealand Red Stag at ages 6, 7 and 9 years. In 1999 “Harvey” was the Supreme Champion of the National Velvet Competition, with a head weighing 11.59kg @ 9 years. Only grandson Austin has beaten that.
A grandson of “Harvey”, “Austin”, has won the National Velvet Competition with a head of 10.86kg S.A.V. at only 6 years of age.
