Rawata was purchased from Arawata Deer
Stud as a 2yr old where he cut a lovely 6kg
velvet head. He moved up to Peel Forest
and cut a stunning 8.8kg head at 3yrs.
We were extremely impressed with his
temperament. He is a super quiet, friendly
stag. At 5yrs of age he cut an impressive
13.49kg.

Used in both the Forrester
and Velvet lines he is influencing these
bloodlines with great promise, with one of
his 3yr olds cutting 11.41 kg of tidy velvet in
2022 (lot 2).
With him continually cutting +12kg of velvet
he is a true sire for us at Peel Forest.

Granddam AR 218/08 had a Zama son sold in 2014 sale. This head is looking very
thick and correct, will be cut just before christmas.
