Lord Ferguson has been used in our breeding programme for the first time this year. He was chosen not
only for his pedigree but also his hugely wide antler and long
tynes.

He was one of a number of top Avondale/Banks progeny
that were on offer last year and that was a statistic that really
impressed us. It confirms the heritability of the sire side and
of course Salvador and Clive need no introduction. With an
impressive antler weight of 10.17kg at just 3yrs we think his
progeny will be keenly sought after for their ability to pass on
this heavy beamed antler for the trophy industry.
