price of $62,000, McCaw is an outstanding addition to our master sire line up. Placed 2nd in the Rising Stars 3yr
HA Competition and also voted People’s Choice in that competition. Malcolm considered retaining him for a sire.
He is a great all round stag with superb temperament, great body confirmation and incredible antlers! Bifurcating brow, beys and treys with super heavy tops. His dam is a full sister to Kane. We consider these genetics to be very high in the ranking with the best head we have ever seen for a 3yr old. Odysseus has shown his genetic consistency with a large number of impressive sons produced. McCaw was sold this year (2018)as an 8yr old to Mt Cecil for $50,000.Unfortunately McCaw died this year(2018)as the result of an injury.
